We here at D-J take rhetoric and propaganda seriously. And have grave concerns when potential clients parrot sound bites from the media in an attempt to sound clever. For it marks ones ignorance when this happens. And we somewhat tactfully suggest they modify their vocabulary. You’ll NEVER hear anyone capable and competent with firearms seriously using the terms “Gun Violence,” “Weapon of War,” “Assault Rifle,” “High Capacity Magazine,” “Assault Style rifle” or the like. These terms are buzzwords used in an attempt to psychologically manipulate the weak minded. Even confusing a magazine with a clip is a social faux paux for those who are competent and familiar with arms.
To be clear, when you hear someone espousing such propaganda terms as “Gun Violence,” “Weapons of War,” “Assault Rifle,” “Assault-Style Rifle,” “Military Style Weapon,” “Gun Reform,” or other drivel we strongly suggest you NOT depend on this person for any meaningful advice on anything. And certainly not support them in any position of responsibility. At best it indicates the person using the term is an ignorant parrot; at worst it’s deliberate manipulation by a miscreant using propaganda as a weapon to hurt others.
