Racism

One of our staff recently got ‘cancelled’ from a social media account for using the term ‘wetback’ — their staff asserting that it was a racist slur (it’s not). In fact, ‘Operation Wetback’ was a border patrol operation during the Eisenhower administration to round up and deport illegals who were committing crimes. The term got its name due to illegals swimming the Rio Grande who were later picked up by the likes of Bill Jordan, Rex Applegate, and Col. Askins (real ‘gun guys’) and returned to their nation of origin.

The point of today’s narrative is NOT to address the illegal alien issue (it’s fairly complex and there ARE many illegals who work exceedingly hard trying to make a better life for themselves and family; problem becomes when this becomes an inherent part of the political spectrum because most of these illegals come from despotic regimes and do not understand how a constitutional republic is supposed to operate. Perhaps wanting to find a way to vote for and support an individual who hands out ‘free stuff.’). It IS to address the psychological warfare and paradigm shift driven BY communists in our nation today. The idea being to compel behavior and assert authority by ‘cult like’ shifts in perception of reality (also known as gaslighting).

The cancel-culture (‘woke’) paradigm is an example of this. History is rewritten and social behavior is modified to project an insane version of reality. The reason being to draw people in and get ‘buy in’ to a situation that isn’t real to begin with (the US has had comparatively little REAL racism since the 80’s. In fact, the US is one of the most racial tolerant nations on the planet; especially when compared with some Asian nations who are stalwart about maintaining ‘racial purity.’). By suckering people into this, they can be driven and controlled by a completely fictional concept (much like forced vaccination and the fear surrounding it).

Our friend was a victim of a larger corporation (namely ‘carbon media’) who had bought a website owned previously by a normal small business and makes their profits by selling advertising. And as such apparently buy into the communist mantra of the ‘woke’ corporations (we saw this during the BLM and ANTIFA debacle) — namely that anything which could be ASSERTED as racist requires a quick retreat under desks and profuse apologies and some sort of human sacrifice. We’ve seen most of the dictates OF the present communist regime to be enforced by such corporations (including the vax ‘mandates’) — and it gives excellent understanding as to how Stalin Russia, Khmer Rouge Cambodia, and Mao China can evolve. Communism cannot be implemented by a small group; it has to (mostly from state media propaganda) evolve into a series of middle and upper level management corporations who do a particular regime’s bidding FOR them (you can see this in some of the airlines and corporations who force the vax ‘mandate’ onto their people — even in the wake of an unconstitutional declaration by an appeals court they illegally trudge forward aligned with the regime whom they want to curry favor and privileges). But you don’t have to go very far to see the list of ‘canceled’ casualties by a paradigm that’s not true.

We here at D-J ARE extremely racially diverse (not by mandate or design; it just turned out that way somehow because we have always been colorblind. It’s not ‘African-American’ or ‘Japanese-American’ it’s simply ‘American’ and we tolerate NO real racism (nor do we walk on eggshells; if an employee makes a joke with ‘nigger’ or ‘fag’ or ‘wop,’ etc. in it he gets censured only if it’s not funny and/or the entire thing was designed to be deliberately hurtful and mean-spirited towards someone else)). The NICE thing is most of our employees cannot be offended because they don’t give the authority to offend them to anyone else. So if there’s a slur of some sort, it doesn’t really do anything; just perhaps reflects on the sender if it was meant in a harmful way. And the big thing is when we get out of the woke mindset, it empowers everyone to stand up for themselves.

We’re not afraid of words here at D-J. Blazing Saddles was one of the funniest movies ever made which lampooned bigotry and to do so needed to use all kinds of language the cancel culture would have regarded as slurs. In fact, some later versions have ‘nigger’ removed and the movie falls flat without it (as do most things leftists touch)–it needs the term to be funny in many places (and by so doing rejects bigotry). By this insane paradigm the wokes project their cult and destroy a very funny comedy. The thing is when you speak plainly and use colorful language, those words LOSE their power to hurt anyone. Sticks and stones thing. And we’re all together as humans then. Not divided up.

We recently had some organizational development training where we asked our team to come up with as many terms that the errant cancel culture communists perceived as slurs as they could (we came up with–in no particular order– kike, wop, nigger, pollack, jewboy, hunky, honky, spick, beaner, greaser, slope, chink, jap (which was kind of a push in that it’s a more historical term than perceived as offensive), gook, raghead, sand-nigger, cracker, mick, fag, whitey, ho, zip, dyke, and (if you can believe it) Peckerwood (which I had no idea was directed towards a particular group–just more towards someone who behaves badly. Please feel free to message us with any group we’ve left out in that we are non-discriminatory here)). And then use those words in a sentence and a joke. Funny thing is towards the end of the session those words really didn’t mean much as slurs anymore and were just words. Folks had lost their fear of speaking plainly (or hearing people speak plainly).

So when you approach D-J for a solution for YOUR company, expect us to inject some of the old pragmatic realism of life to help YOUR organization succeed. And a major part of that is getting away from a thin-skinned victim mentality. Or allowing YOUR organization to get drawn into a cult-like paradigm which will implode it.
