One of our major clients holds an FFL (federal firearms license) and had lamented how the bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosive had been weaponized against him over the last 4 years under the Biden regime.
“It’s been awful; these agents come in with marching orders to look for the most trivial of errors in any 4473 and if found come down with the full force of the law. We’ve not seen anything like it even during the Carter, Clinton, or Obama administrations. They’re not looking for criminals; they’re looking to harass people trying to follow the rules. Harass and intimidate them so much that they abandon the business — choking off supply of legal firearms to honest American citizens. It’s a form of gun-ban by fiat. Death by a thousand cuts. And that doesn’t include the banks they coerced through Operation Choke Point to deny banking access to firearms and ammunition manufacturers and distributors.”
Indeed, we’ve seen the flurry of gun-laws passed during this regime; none of which deter crime but rather exploit some tragedy in an attempt to increase power of the DOJ and punish law abiding citizens. These have ranged in attempts to prevent citizens from manufacturing their own firearms, modifying their own firearms, putting new triggers on their firearms, re-defining what a firearm is, attempting to ban braces used by disabled veterans, targeting disabled veterans to strip them of their firearms rights, going after ammunition and components, trying to ban lead for use in bullets, and attempting to redefine who’s ‘engaged in the business’ to prevent private sales of firearms (making it so that if a person decided to sell ONE of his guns from his collection he could potentially be jailed for ten years). As well as the various ‘high capacity’ and ‘assault weapons’ ban nonsense and trying to force transfers through government approval and registration via fiat. ALL of these actions are designed to ultimately ban firearms ownership by US citizens–creeping registration, shifting definitions, eventual bans and confiscations.
None of these are constitutional. None of them affect crime. All of them punish the innocent and free the guilty. All of them are bad; used by self-serving power hungry miscreants. Of note is that the gun-grabbing nature of the regime has been so extensive that several courts HAVE declared some of these laws as being blatantly unconstitutional giving the ATF a black eye in the process.
Ironically the President’s son was ensnared by one of these very laws–making false statements on a 4473, making false statements during an investigation, and attempting to destroy evidence and obstruct justice. All while high on drugs; another felony. Of course, this would have been buried by the DOJ had the stories not hit the alternative media and been exposed.
A regular Joe would have been persecuted extensively for these felonies and be in jail for twenty years.
In Soap Box theater, Biden has proclaimed for months that he wouldn’t intervene in the DOJ investigation of Hunter Biden or interfere in the results. Pontificating from his pulpit that ‘no man is above the law.’ And unequivocally stating that he’d respect a jury’s conclusion and would NOT issue a pardon for his son.
Obviously he was lying and everyone except the liberal media and leftist Hollywood knew it. Later issuing a blanket pardon for his son after things got serious.
The intent of this was multifold. First off, trumped up charges against Trump were being pursued at the time his son was under investigation and trial. So it was to give the Trump persecution an appearance of legitimacy. After all, if the cabal was willing to investigate the President’s own son it HAD to be objective going after others. “No man is above the law.”

But more importantly, the pardon goes back for a decade. Under the illusion of pardoning his son for some BS gun charge (never mind the hookers and drug use), he pardons him for ALL of the illegal dealings of the past and money laundering to the Biden family that’s occurred. It’s a cover story to cover up all of the other crimes–most of which are far more serious than lying on a 4473. Analogous to a motorist being pulled over for speeding while having 100 kilos of cocaine in the trunk. Now both speeding ticket AND the cocaine are being pardoned.
Obviously, we at D-J understand that having to fill out a 4473 to begin with to buy a gun is like having to register to go to church or type these very words on the internet–wholly unconstitutional. And we certainly don’t begrudge someone lying to the Federales about something like buying a gun–something the Federales have no business knowing (“Shall Not Be Infringed” means exactly that). Using Booze, Blow and Broad minded Hookers aren’t exactly desirable character traits; but not really a Federal offense either. Then again, thousands of (mostly minority) Californians were jailed by Kamala Harris for simply smoking weed.
But this goes deeper.
What grinds our gears at D-J is the absolute corruption, hypocrisy, and hubris of the actions of the Democratic Cabal. Rules for thee but not for me. These are the same people putting flow restrictors in your shower to cut YOUR water consumption while watering their multi-acre lawn. These are the same people putting masks on you and forcing you to stay home while they go out partying on the town. These are the same people going after your SUV, minivan, and pickup while they guzzle thousands of gallons of hydrocarbons going to Davos for their ‘climate change’ junket in their private jets with SUV entourage. These are the same people telling you to freeze in the winter and bake in the summer in your modest 2000 square foot home while they live in luxury in one of their six 10,000 square foot homes–funded by kickbacks from wind and solar power entities.
And these are the same people who tried to take out a political opponent through a convoluted maze of trumping up charges based on other laws which had long expired; engineering a logic boggling circular springboard of lawfare nonsense. Had he been sentenced, it’s likely Trump would have spent the rest of his life as a political prisoner–the victim of totally made up nonviolent charges. Fortunately, Trump trumped them when the American people saw through the charade.
In the case of Hunter Biden, the ultimate goal is covering up the millions of dollars of cash that illegally flowed to the Biden family from US tax dollars laundered through foreign shores. Joe the big guy on point collecting cash through a corrupt company and regime in the Ukraine. Fighting useless and dangerous wars–getting people killed–while they got rich. So now he’s pardoned and the crime buried.
In the future, we hope that the new Trump appointees will make it much more difficult to use lawfare to go after people. Having experienced it first hand, we believe it likely that Trump will throttle entities like the DOJ and ATF. As well as reign in the EPA and other alphabet-soup entities. The key is in cutting the resources which allow it to act as a Stasi and to limit its powers. We see this as happening and wish the new Trump administration–which actually may well represent we the people–the best of luck and success in dismantling the deep state.
