Gun ‘Buybacks’ ?

We at D-J gave this term some thought. And came to the quick realization that it’s equivalent to other psychological manipulation (like ‘gun violence’) anti-gunners use.

Ask yourself — how can anyone ‘buy back’ something they never owned in the first place ? It’s used to imply that somehow the state entity had a degree of ownership in something they never did. The targeted firearms were always privately maintained and owned. With no claim from any state entity. Another propaganda term.

We advise our clients to avoid such scams. They typically aren’t worth anyone’s valuable time and are used for propaganda value. If someone can’t help themselves, we advise that they take cheap broken or inoperative firearms they were going to toss anyway and get some cash for them. Any of the typical vouchers aren’t worth the time or trip and result in the donator being used for propaganda.
